As YOU decide the fate of the nation, I want YOU… to rate my classic chocolate chunk cookies.
In the following order add to your mixer and blend:
1 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar pressed
1 cup white sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup melted chocolate chips (double boil-or microwave)
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp soda bicarbonate
1 egg
1 cup white chocolate chunk
1 cup dark chocolate chunk
Set oven to 325 degrees
Prepare a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Using a 2 oz portion scoop place cookies 3 inches apart.
Bake for 8-12 minutes. Do not over bake! For a soft chew under bake!
Cool before moving to your display plate. Makes 24 delicious cookies that are great with coffee or a tall glass of milk.
